Doing a build with my friend, his budget is $1250, keyboard, mouse, and OS separate. He is has a free sync monitor so we’re eticking with AMD.

looks good, vega is a bit iffy, I would ebay a used 1080 but im a cheepskate, also grab some on sale ram. Ive seen some 16gb ddr4 kits for 100 straight. Remember, ram speed don't matter too much anymore.

I thought RAM speed and timings helped with the infinity fabric on Ryzen?
