Yeah i understand your frustration. As i've learned is that you can't trust advertisement :P

It seems like it was because the cable between the router and the internet couldn't handle more than 100 Mbps, so I just changed that :D but thanks for helping!

Hey peeps!

So I've just did factory reset of my router and everything, but it still seems to cut my internet speed in half, anyone knows abou the Asus RT-AC87U router?

I've recently just moved around a bit with furnitures and so on, but the connection is still lan and shouldn't have done any difference.

The 2 tests below, the slow one with 95 Mbps is with the router.

The speed with 200+ is with my lan cable directly connected to the internet.

My router should be able to handle that speed shouldn't it? As I've been using it for 1-2 years while having no problems at all.

Hope one of you guys knows what to do :3

Get a better router? Unless you can manually update the firmware (unless the one you have is the newest) you're quite nicely stuck with it.

Damn, though it was a pretty good router, since it had some alright reviews and wasn't something cheap :/
