While installing windiws 10 on my new pc i boot into my usb and an error pips up saying "a media driver in your computer is missing" idk why this pops up. I heard that i could have a corrupted iso and i used rufus to make it bootable, if anyone could help me id appreciate it as ive had problems with my new build fir a couple days now.

Please use Microsoft Media Creation Tools. You'll get the latest version of Windows 10 automatically, and prepare the USB flash drive for UEFI and legacy BIOS systems.

On your way, just in the case you forgot. In your UEFI make sure that:

  • CSM is diabled
  • XMP is set to Profile 1
  • UEFI is enabled
  • SATA Controller is set to AHCI mode
  • Disable anything you don't use
  • Fast Boot is enabled
  • SecureBoot is enabled.

And of course, when you boot your USB flash drive, pick UEFI option, so that Windows 10 is properly installed for your modern system.
