Debuging a file explorer bug

hey everyone, is there i way i can help debug my friends's file explorer? He says it wont open at all. it says it's open but doesnt appear. strangly all other apps work.

have you tried restarting the computer? if you have go to task manager, end the file explorer process then click it again.
