what would be the perfect gpu to go with a xeon 1230v3 there are no limitations psu wise and budget well ehm i was thinking about something around 250-300 euro

It's an issue with the coin-mining boom, all of the AMD cards SKYROCKETED in demand and retailers ran out of stock and pushed up prices.

Wait a few weeks for the new stock to roll in, then go AMD

Um, it honestly boils down to "which card is cheaper", I dont know Holland's prices

Get the card that is furthest along on this list that you can afford

760, 270x, 770, 280x, 780.

Without knowing prices, it's hard to say  But thats my recommendation

ah alright:) I would go with amd in this particular build since it's usually cheaper in this price range (i.m.o.)
