Damaged LCD TV Panel

Recently got a used tv from a friend (Sharp 43n6100u) . Upon turning on I noticed a slight back ring on the left side of the screen. It would appear that too much pressure was applied near the edge at some point. It's not horrible, but still noticeable. Is there anything I can do to fix this or lessen the effect?
