Server Build. Help please!

So in relation to my previous topic I have been given the funds to build and create two server/computers.

 

The first is going to be used for the sole purpose of using 10+ cctv/webcams(wireless) 

 

The second is going to be used to backup all data recorded from the first system and will also be backing up various personal computers. This system will be located about 5 miles from the first.

 

Both will need to be remotely accessed (if there are certain parts for this) 

 

 

I really need help with picking the right parts for each build as building a gaming pc I barely understand but this is complete mandarin to me :(!

 

The budget for both builds will be around £1000. (excluding cameras/webcams)

What cctv/webcams are you using?

I'm a bit confused. Are the systems also used for gaming?

£1000 each or for both?

 

What software is being used to operate & record the cameras?

 

Is the backup server pulling backups or are they being pushed onto it?

 

Windows licenses?

 

Can the servers be operated headless (without monitor, keyboard, or mouse), i.e. only controlled across a network?

 

Have you done any calculations to figure out how much storage is needed on each machine?

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
