I need a new laptop, the size, weight and battery life are not really an issue. I would like decent performance and a decent display for some light editing work and to play games occasionally such as Rocket league and warframe. I also need it for unreal engine 4 but I have never tried it on a laptop so I don't really know what exactly to look out for. If anyone has any advice on using any game engine on a laptop I would greatly appreciate it. My budget is around $2200 US dollars, i'm considering the Predator helios 500( I7, gtx 1070 version) right now. If anyone else knows of anything else that would be really helpful, thanks. ?

No need to spend $2200 brother, I have a Lenovo y530 and its perfect for me, the site you can order it from allows you to sort of customize it also. Heres a link: https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/legion-laptops/legion-y-series/Lenovo-Legion-Y530-15ICH/p/88GMY501020

I'm had mine roughly for about 4 months now, never had a problem, it had a sleek look to it and is simple. I use it for gaming on the go as I'm a college student and also for all my work and I haven't had an issue. You should check it out!

My PC Specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 8750H RAM: 16 GB DDR4 2666 MHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti

My main usage will be editing and rendering in Unreal engine. I'm buying in Germany.

Budget in Euro? Any preference on weight and battery life? Any links of online stores?

About 1950 Euro, Ideal weight would be around 3-4 kg( i'm only moving around every 6 months), as for battery life I would like at least 2 to 4 hours. https://www.saturn.de/ and https://www.amazon.de/  decent cooling would also be really helpful.

i7-8750H+1060 will suit your workload, 1070 isn't necessary

AWm15 - fairly portable, many display options

XMG Pro 17 (Clevo PA71EP6, avoid 1070 model) - 144Hz IPS

HP Omen 17-an134ng/an135ng - 120Hz IPS, bulky

HP Omen 15-dc0005ng/dc0006ng/dc0304ng - 144Hz IPS

MSI GE63/GE73/GP63/GP73 8RE - 120Hz TN

Asus GL504GM - 144Hz low ms IPS

Asus GL703GM - 120Hz TN

XMG Apex 15 with desktop CFL CPU - 120Hz TN or 144Hz IPS

Lenovo Legion Y530 - 144Hz IPS

Can also consider AW15/17 but it's bulky, quite expensive and don't have the best cooling

If you want to know other Clevo resellers, see my sig below
