Corsair K95 Platinum - Do I have Brown or Speed?

YourGadgetGuy

I received a Corsair K95 Platinum keyboard as a bonus with my new computer and for the life of me, I can't tell whether I have Brown or Speed keys. Where would I look to determine that? I found no indications on the box nor under the keyboard.

Done. What visual indicators should I see under the key cap to identify Brown or Speed?

Wait. Are the switches under the key caps actually colored to match their name? Mine look somewhat translucent / silvery. Since they're not brown, I guess that means I have speed?

Sweet. If it had been brown, I guess I wouldn't have had to ask. But since they were clear, it didn't look like an indicator.

I'm pleased because I'd read Speed keys were way too sensitive with lots of accidental presses, but I've not experienced any of that.. I love the way they feel and the responsiveness feels perfect.

Thank you both for your help.

I sure hope you said that backwards! Yeah, the post of mine is solid silver/gray.

Key switch preference is still up to the individual at the end of the day. That's why everyone should only buy keyboards after testing them with their own hands.

Yeah, I didn't have an option, since I had to take what they sent me. It was a bonus with my computer.
