Empty RAM slots

Okay so long story short, I ws going to but two sticks of ram but I got annoyed and bough a single stick. Now I'm wondering if I can fill the empty RAM slots with anything that will hide them as they are ugly. Any suggestions??

Why? You missed out on the chance to take advantage of dual channel memory. 2 x 8GB RAM in dual channel > 1 x 16GB

Maybe you could take a look at ram coolers. They are not needed but could improve aesthetics

I would leave them alone for the sake of not screwing the pins up. There used to be ram coolers, they would cover the entire 4 slots, but in my opinion they look just ridiculous:

Maybe you could cut up some cardboard and paint/ do something to make it look good?

 

or just get some cheap RAM and populate the slots with that

Maybe wait for the fake RAM sticks that Gigabyte is looking to sell.

Or just not look at them.  RAM slots are so far away from anything I see on my desktop, with a TG window even, it's hard to even contemplate this.

 

Buy a 4x set of RAM so they're all filled then.  You'll get the benefit of dual channel RAM as said above.   1 stick was not a good idea.

Think there are RAM coolers made specially for DDR4

I remember seeing RAM coolers from Corsair that specifically advertised DDR4 compatibility. Don't know what effect that would have though.

I remember seeing a video where they had fake RAM sticks to fill the empty slots.  I wish I could remember enough about the video to find it, but I don't.  So I guess Google "fake RAM sticks".
