For the past week or so, I've been eyeing the corsair 280x matx case but noticed that the cpu cooler height was fairly limited (150mm). At first I was just going to shove everything from my pc into there but with the cpu height limitation, my Dark Rock Pro 3 won't fit in. So i was wondering if you guys could give me some advice on what I could do to make it fit.

The idea I have in mind right now is to replace the thumb screws on the tempered glass panel for longer ones and put some spacers in between to give it the extra height for the cpu cooler. I know I will have a gap but that's the only thing I could think of. Really appreciate if you guys could give me some feed back as I am not too sure about this.

If you could have spacers manufactured, I think that would be your best bet. Like standoffs for your CPU but instead it's for your side panel.

You could also look into the Thermaltake Level 20 VT as an alternate case option
