Need a gaming rig

Hi, I actually need a gaming rig right now. Mine is currently horrible when I play CS:GO. My brother choose for me these parts.

AND I actually posted another post for another build. I need to compare 2 of these so I can choose if I want the build-for-video-editing PC or this one

You're either trolling or horribly misinformed, which is it? Because a 32-core TR chip is only useful in certain workloads and an 8700K + 2080 for CS:GO is pretty darn overkill.

Aside from being at least several thousands of dollars more expensive than is needed, what precise programs are you actually planning to run?

 

That 8700k build is also just outright bad. Don't run 4 memory sticks on a high-end gaming build.

 

For a Video Editing build, either a 2950X or on the Intel X299 platform. The WX parts are for large compute stuff.

I'm thinking young child who's trolling, or else a pretty well off complete and utter noob. Basically any PC can run CS:GO with no issues, so both of these rigs are complete overkill for that game.
