cpu how good is the i5 9600k

How good is the i5 9600k for gaming and streaming, the reason i asked on here was i could not find a test online thank you.

if you ares streaming get a r7 2700 or r5 2600. if you are on a budget a r5 1600 or r7 1700.

Is there a significant different between the r7 2700 vs r7 1700?

 

Userbenchmark only shows a 4% effective speed different, not sure how accurate that is though

on a good motherboard the r7 2700 will overclock to 4,2 ghz and it has a ~3% IPC lead.

the r7 1700 will go to 3,9-4ghz on a good motherboard.

 

so there is a difference. if you can i would get the 2700 and a B450 tomahawk board and then overclock to 4-4,1ghz. the 1700 is more of a budget CPU and if you get it then combo it with a B350 PRO4 (ATX or mATX whichever is cheaper) and overclock to about 3,8 ghz. 

 

you can run both CPUs on their included box cooler, though they arent the most silent thing using those (to be expected, but you can overclock using them)
