How to clean a mouse mat?

My mouse mat (Logitech G240) is getting a bit dirty and when I rub my nails on the mat the white marks show up. Is there a way for me to clean my mouse mate to help stop this from happening?

Scrub it with some soapy water and hang it on your clothes line.
