Best parental control program

Hello everyone.

For a while now I have been in search of a good parental control program for my kids. I'd like to be able to block sites and turn those blockages off and on easily. I need support for several devices. Ideally I would be able to install it on my personal computer and not have to do it for all of my kids' devices as I don't want to risk them uninstalling the program. I'd also like to avoid a problem common among many such programs, very slow connections even on site that are allowed. I'm not sure this is a good place to go for this but I hope you guys might know a good way to do this.

Most routers have settings for blocking sites, even for certain macadresses (devices), you have special browsers for it, so make your choise

That's what I have been doing, it works (actually fairly well) but it makes the internet on even allowed sites very slow.
