Farcry 5 Performance Issues

Hey there so my girlfriend has a laptop that use to perform really well on far-cry 5 when it first come out but she has reinstalled it to do a new play through and occasional she is getting lag spikes and some textures are glitching. I have tried looking around on google and trying what others have said online but nothing seems to of worked yet. I was hoping that maybe someone on here has some idea of what might be causing the issue.
