Hey guys! I am looking for a laptop with a few specific features but I can't find any. I am a photographer and a gamer. Please help! Here are my requirements-

Budget- around 2000 USD

14-15 in touchscreen

GTX 1060 minimum

Thin construction

Type A ports

Known brand so warranty, repair and QC is less of an issue

with a 1060, you won't get a ultrabook like thin.

you'll most likely found that gpu on a gaming laptop.

Try Dell XPS 15 or Razor Blade

Ryzen 5700g @ 4.4ghz all cores | Asrock B550M Steel Legend | 3060 | 2x 16gb Micron E 2666 @ 4200mhz cl16 | 500gb WD SN750 | 12 TB HDD | Deepcool Gammax 400 w/ 2 delta 4000rpm push pull | Antec Neo Eco Zen 500w

Maybe Thinkpad P1 mobile workstation?

It comes with a 4k touchscreen, relatively thin design, all kinds of ports, and a Nvidia Quadro P2000.

I know P2000 is a bit slower than 1060 in gaming, but it is still a decent card, especially in professional areas.

The thing is, you asked for "thin", "at least 1060 graphics", “2000 USD" and "15' touch screen" at the same time. I cannot think of any laptop that matches all of your requirements. Thin and light gaming laptop usually does not comes with a touch screen, and thin laptop with touch screen does not have a very powerful GPU.

Razer blade does have  a touch screen varient, but it sells for at least 2900 USD which is way above your budget.

The problem is, 1060 laptops with touchscreen is rare (forget about thin and light)

eGPU setup should be within your budget
