Hi Everyone, thanks for all the help so far, I think I have just one more question...for now. ha.

I've got an NZXT H500i case, with the Smart Device, and I've got a Kraken X62 AIO.  I am pretty certain I've connected some fan cables to the wrong spot, so I'll tell you what I did, and what's happening and maybe one of you smart helpful folks can point me in the right direction.

The two stock case fans came pre connected to the Smart Device, leading me to believe that all the fans should be connected to it so the CAM software could fully control everything.   So, I connected the Radiator fans tot he Smart Device as well.  The Smart Device itself plugged into a USB2 header on the mobo, and it is connected to a SATA cable from the PSU.  The AIO pump is connected to another USB2 header on the mobo, the power pump cable is connected to the PSU through a SATA power cable.

I've got two main issues:

1-When I turn on the system, every fan is blowing at 100% at all times.  The CAM software is indicating that none of the fans are working, but all the other CAM software monitoring seems to be fine.  (CPU and GPU temps etc)

2-The AIO Pump's lights are not turning on.

I've only done one previous build, and with that one I just connected all the fans to fan headers on the mobo.  One of the main reasons I chose the H500i is the Smart Device, it seems really handy because there is going to be a good amount of RGB in this build and it would be nice to have all the fans and RGB controlled from one piece of software.  I believe the Smart Device is working fine because the two pre connected RGB strips are functioning properly from it.

As always, any help is greatly appreciated.

Your AIO should be hooked to CPU1 4 pin header etc - hook up your AIO per the manual.

It may be registering this all funny because you have the AIO hooked to whatever that device is.  Your AIO isn't meant to work though a USB header from what I know

EDIT - I should say, my AIO does have a connection to a USB header, but that's because that is a USB header to micro usb male to give me complete control over the AIO etc - but the AIO itself is connected to the CPU fan 1 and fan 2 headers iirc - haven't messed with it in a year

Hi man !

I'm setting my first build with the same configuration H500i and kraken x62 and I wanted to make sure of something :

You said you connected the radiator fans to the smart device so the 4 fan connectors going out from the AIO are connected to nothing right ?

thanks !
