Need Help!!!

someone was selling a GTX 980 but apparently, it doesn't work. According to the seller, it does not display at all. So I took a gamble and decided to bet on it. I won hoping maybe it would be an easy fix. I plan to use it on an SLI config because I already have a gtx 980 on my current rig. So trying to figure out what's wrong with it based on looking at the pictures, I noticed these unusual spots on the back of the PCB. Not sure if it's either rust or corrosion. The seller placed odd stickers with arrows indicating the spots so I am really hoping it isn't too bad to fix. Please Help!!

looks like corroded alot, may be soaked in liquid? and PCB have some sort of bumps on it?

try remove all stains by scratching with screw driver or razor blade....at you own risk

I'm guessing I should also clean it with alcohol and possibly vinegar with soft toothbrush

The bumps could be the reflection of the seller's hand on the last pic if that's what where you saw it.

Tbh I've seen very VERY bad corrosion and end up working after a cleanup and stuff so I'm really hoping it works

It looks like corrosion and liquid seepage a good cleaning could help

If only Louis Rossman could help lol. I do live nearby his shop but sadly he doesn't fix graphics cards

Oh if you're near him ask him for flux see if he could clean it for ya (even better)

Some people over at Tom's Hardware told me it's not repairable but it doesn't look too bad tbh

Update: So I got the graphics card, cleaned out the brown gunk which I guess was corrosion with alcohol but still no change

It does startup but no display at all. Fans spin and it's getting juice but nothing
