Any preference on weight, display size and battery life? Usage?

If I'm being honest Im not too botheres about screen size , I'd rather have better quality. And for power something with a bit of power ,an i5 or Ryzen 5. Not to fussed on battery and I'll use it most of the day. I like the Microsoft surface laptops but it's a bit out of my price range, I like it's typing experience.

You can get quadcore AMD or Intel CPUs in ultrabooks in the 600$-700$ range. But you won't get anything above a Full HD display at that price point at least as far as I know.

Thanks you. Full HD is fine with me lol. Just looking for an all-rounder I guess

Do you want to game on the Laptop? If that is the case it will get pretty to tough to find something at the pricepoint that also has a dedicated graphic card that is fast enough for current games.

Acer Spin 3 SP314-51 - soldered RAM, need SSD upgrade, OKish build quality

Lenovo Ideapad 330s 14 81F400E9UK - only 128GB SSD, check battery capacity (30 or 52Wh)

Lenovo Ideapad 320s 14 81BN000HUK - only 128GB SSD, check battery capacity (30 or 52Wh)

 

If you can bump up to 650:

Acer Spin 5 13 - good sRGB IPS, soldered RAM

Acer Aspire 5 17 A517-51 - good sRGB FHD IPS

Acer Swift 3 14 SF314-54

Acer Swift 3 14 SF314-52 - soldered RAM

Acer Aspire 5 15 - probably TN panel

Okay thank you so much , I'll check them out. I might be able to bump up to £700 for the right laptop
