Hey, so I have these old G-Skill 2133mhz 2x4gb sticks and am in need for an upgrade, would it be better for me to look for another pair of 2x4gb sticks or just a new pair to make 16gb or even more? It kinda sucks cuz RAM is expensive af rn but i really want to upgrade. Thanks!

depends on the purpose. its cheaper though to find another 2x4 ram sticks. but check the timings because it can cause BSOD.

What is your ram usage like when u do what you do?  If you're not over 70% usage then getting more ram is a waste of money.

If you have a good motherboard and feel that you'll benefit from faster frequencies, i suggest you look at 2x4gb kits of ddr4 3200.
