Shared TV Headphone Viewing

La_Pistola

Ok, so I am looking for some help putting together a shared headphone setup for my wife and I to be able to watch tv/movies togeather after the kids have gone to sleep.

We use our apple TV, or my iPad generally when we watch.

I have a pair of Apple Airpods that I love, and I would like to use them for this. My wife does not have wireless headphones, and we are willing to buy her some.

I considered getting something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Avantree-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Simultaneously/dp/B07BQYYDNJ/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1541539798&sr=1-2-spons&keywords=bluetooth+transmitter+for+tv&psc=1

along with some over the ear bluetooth headphones for the wife.

The issue is that she wears hearing aids. And her particular hearing loss gives her poor hearing in the mid to high frequency range, but OK hearing in the low end. That means that headphones that have a lot of low end bass overwhelm her ears easily. All the wireless headphones that I can find brag about bass boost or whatever. So I don't think they would work.

So are there any over the ear bluetooth headpones that have really poor bass response out there? or is there another solution that I am missing?

Thanks!
