Mouse "twitching" in source sdk 2006 mod

So, back in mid 2017 I was playing a hl2 mod called The Hidden : Source. I was playing that game since 2014 and had no issues back then. One day my pc started bluescreening and wouldn't allow to boot up without freezing or bluescreening (DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION was the most common blue screen I got), so I went ahead and bought myself a new PC in late 2017.  When I got my PC, I installed my steam library and wanted to play that mod. I had the config files for the game on a USB stick so I just transfered the files. Everything seemed fine and worked just like on my old PC until early 2018. I got into a game and noticed that my mouse was "twitching" ( whenever I moved my mouse to any direction, it would "twitch" to that direction by a random amount.)

I tried to re-install the game, reset windows and it's still buggy. I am not the only one who is experiencing this in-game. Someone had a old laptop running windows 7 and he played that game no problem, but he switched to windows 10 and problems started occurring.

If you didn't understand something, know that English is not my mother language.

the hidden is pretty legacy at this point.. but that said it shouldnt be completely broken.

just the "default" guess, but have you tried enabling/disabling directinput? (switch to whatever it is *not* set to)

I've tried every command there is for mouse options. Nothing has worked yet. (One detail I forgot to mention, I can play the game normally with a ps3 controller, but it's impossible to flick props at someone with a joystick.
