gs8 broken

So i have a galaxy s8 which shattered when i stupidly played basketball while it was in my pocket. I thought it was just the screen and went to fix it in the local uBreakiFix, they said there was a power leakage and they most likely have to replace the motherboard, and samsung could only do that. So i was just wondering since they wont even give me an estimate unless i send the phone in and pay 70 bucks for their diagnostic, and I wont fix it if it costs too much, if you guys had any idea how much that would cost. Also what are some good phones that I could look at? I'm using T-mobile and dont want to spend more than  500-600 on a new phone. Thanks!

decent camera, I dont use it too much, I want a sleek phone one that dosent have too much bezel. Also has to be compatible with T-Mobile. Also good battery life is a need.

idk, but actually I called Samsung and they said they would fix my whole phone to perfect condition for 200 bucks, so I guess no new phone. Thanks for the recommendation though.
