I have a asrock B250m-hdv and in the page of asrock it  claims Supports ECC UDIMM memory modules (operate in non-ECC mode) I got a 8gb of ecc ram. I try installing the 8gb of ecc memory but my computer turns off a couple of seconds after turning it on. My question is how do I make the memory stick (operate in non-ECC mode) I Also have a Pentium g4560 it also claims to work with ecc memory, I try different types of bios updates but the same thing happens, I been using my pc with only 4gb stck of non-ecc memony. I didn't know ecc Memory existed until now.

I believe the ECC memory you have must also support running in non-ECC mode during boot. If your machine won't boot with the ECC RAM installed, this means the RAM does not support non-ECC mode, so you'll have to find some ECC RAM that does, or better yet, find regular RAM instead.

There are different types of ECC RAM as well, as quoted from a Tom's Hardware thread below. If your ECC RAM is RDIMM or LRDIMM, I don't believe it will operate in non-ECC mode. UDIMM ECC RAM should though. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3262352/ecc-memory-questions.html

So, if the mobo in question can use any type of UDIMM, then you buying ECC UDIMM will be fine. The difference though is that if you use ECC UDIMM and the mobo defaults it to non-ECC UDIMM, you are losing out on a very nice feature. Now if you don't use the PC for professional work or mission critical operations, then you really don't need to worry about using the ECC portion of the memory in question. However, this is all irrelevant, if the mobo in question does not say it supports ECC. In that case, like the MSI board you mentioned, will only run non-ECC UDIMM memory.

Typically any motherboard that uses an extreme i7 or lower, i.e. non-extreme i7, i5, or i3, will not be able to use ECC DIMMs of any type. This is mainly because these chips are geared for consumers and not professionals. However, when you start dabbling into the i7 extreme mobos that can utilize Xeon CPUs or full on workstation/server, Xeon based mobos, you will see that ECC is pretty common.

Is the ECC ram unbuffered? That type is required to work, and if you got buffered/registered ECC instead, that likely wont work.
