As far as I understand, speed tests show you your best possible speeds but, it's not going to be that fast everywhere.

Speedtest is pretty reliable. I've found it to be the best speedtest app/website.

If you want to have an accurate understanding of what your internet speed is actually like, you should not only perform one speed-test over one platform but try multiple platforms and servers within a platform.

Google's speed-test seems to be decent.
Your ISP probably offers one too and sometimes even governments provide them. Here in Germany, for example, we have one provided by the Government.
