i just wanted to know what is the difference between the large white pci x 16 and the small black pci x 16 port both are x 16  the different gen

what board? look at the manual, one will often be connected to the cpu and the other goes through the chipset.

Looking at the board, there is a single pcie slot(the black one) the other slots are pci, not pcie. '

 

What sata card do you want? You probably need a pci card.

That should work fine in there

 

Just saying, that won't let you run all your drives at their max speed as pci is slow, so don't expect super fast storage here.
