Transfer data from SIM card using my computer??

I have a Moto Z Play that I had for a while, now the screen is broken so I'm planning on getting a OnePlus 6T and also switching to AT&T, but I want to keep my contacts. I know you can transfer that data with Android and make it some kind of file, but since my phone is broken, is there some way to get the data using a computer with a SIM adapter (idek if those exist)?

Go to google/Newegg (I use Newegg all the time) and search for SIM card reader - lots of options

Also, make sure you sync your contacts to your google account, rather than keeping them on the SIM card. Having to input contacts manually is kinda 2008.
