A 1080ti can run fine with a 4790k, the only bottlenecking u will notice is when u hit up games like GTA V which is heavily CPU dependant and shows a significant performance difference between older generaiton CPU's (but still totaly playable 60fps+ easily) and newer. But in 'normal' less CPU dependant games the difference is much smaller, ur never going to be sitting in a situation where your GPU is at 50% and your CPU is pegged at 100% load massivly bottlenecking the CPU.

A 4790k has issues with a single 1080. Even more so with 2. Depends on the games over all. But all of my games aside from one, it has issues with.

Is there a less expensive processor than the 4790k that holds the 1070 ti?
