Bluetooth passive repeater antenna

I know that back when wireless networks couldn't penetrate through buildings. People used "horns" on doorways to repeat the RF signal inside. I was wondering if this was possible to make for Bluetooth signals. Maybe something like repeating a Bluetooth signal hidden in glasses to Bluetooth earbuds. Since most earbuds have trouble staying connected when the phone is put in the pocket. Is this possible?  Or would I have to wear a tin foil had in order for this to work.

the tin foil hat would reflect the signals so that the north korean socialist huawei martians can't steal your XXX sites passwords from inside your brain via the earbuds
