Hey guys, I've had it with my fucking laptop. Asus put in there a shitty Atheros card and now I'm getting internet issues. I keep on getting limited access on wifi. I've contacted my ISP(M1 Singapore) and I've exchanged my router with them. But it's still the same. I've reinstalled the drivers 6 fucking times now with different versions... Still the fucking same. I really need some help fast. I just want to play a fucking game of dota... But I fucking can't .

Note: my router is a huawei hg265 I think and my wifi card is a Qualcomm Atheros ar9485wb-eg. I'm on 100mbps fiber.

silly question, but is your IP set to dynamic or static? is your router set to be a DHCP or not?

What the hell is that? I'm guessing I can change it in the router settings?

first, calm down, second. in your windows taskbar there is a signal bar for your wifi, right click it and select open network and sharing center.

on your right hand side of the window that will pop up you will find an option that says "change adapter settings" click that.

then give me a list of all the network adapters (things on the screen) so I can tell you which one to check.

enable your wifi, right click it and select properties, then go and search for internet protocol version 4. click properties and make sure everything is set to detect automatically, do the same with internet protocol version 6.
