Come that time there will be new tech on the horizon. Instead of planning this far ahead, just save and keep track of gaming hardware releases so you know what to try to get your hands on.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

@fasauceome nailed it, there's absolutely no point in planning a build that's that far off in the future. Just save, and when you have the money ready, ask then. Pricing will most definitely be different, and we'll have many, many new parts to choose from.

 

It's nice to dream, but it's not really constructive to make a build list now.
