Wierd GPU Temperature during idle

Semi-fanless operation card + load = funky behavior like this. Depending on what model 1060 you have, the cooler might just be too small to handle the increased clocks from Firefox using it for acceleration (or potentially even not enough case airflow). ?

During Idle, my gpu would be temps would go up to 58 degrees, fan kicks in and drop temps down to 51, then goes back up to 58 again. The process would repeat itself many times and would never stop. Is this normal?
*Firefox is running 6 tabs of LTT forum, hence the 44% ram usage

Isn’t idling if you are using it. Make a better fan curve.

It’s using the gpu. Use equals temps.
