recently the h100i v2 started making a high pitched humming noise when set in performance mode. Its coming from the pump 100%. What can I do to fix it?

Things I have tried

1) gently shake the radiator to get the potential air bubbles out

2) I tried setting the PC on all 4 sides, made no difference. (imaging rolling a dice)

I think this is the sound of the pump degrading. I bought this second hand. The previous owner used this for about six month and I used it for maybe five month. So total, its been working for less than a year. Should I RMA this?

BTW, stick with air if you are sensitive to noise. I completely regret buying this. The cooling is subpar. I will never buy another AIO as long as I live.

On a different note, I am just hating my PC atm due its noise.

My next build, I am defin sticking with air cooler (d15) and silent fans! I am gonna go with all SSD and a fanless PSU. I am so sick and tired of computer noises!

Sounds like normal pump noise. Best is to manually set a curve for the pump speeds to ramp up from idle to load. This is the best way to combat it.
