Slow Start...

Go to solution Solved by mgsstar,

I went to services found it and hit start and i got a message saying windows could not start it. error: 1068

I found this on a search. This reply is from MS Social Network;

"After spending half the afternoon looking for help, I believe I've found something that may be of assistance. If you right click>properties (or double click) on task scheduler in the services list, you will see a window with several tabs, one of them being "Dependencies". Click on that and check out the programs that have to be running to make the scheduler work. One by one, go to each on the services list, and see if they are enabled and started. Once I had started one and enable another, scheduler (and everything associated with it) worked. I hope this helps".

defrag it?

Don't defrag if you are using a SSD. It will shorten the life of your ssd. Check your startup programs and try disabling some or the programs that you installed recently to see if it persists.

you should definitely not be defragging an SSD

Okay im having trouble  though. My task manager says "the remote computer was not found" IDK what to do...

My task scheduler keeps saying the remote was not found. And it wont let me do anything. Nothing is clickable.

Click Start button, type in Services then click the Services icon.

Find task scheduler in the list and check that it's running. If not right click and then press start.
