Samsung 860 Evo, from an awareness-of-brand and reliability point of view. I personally use a Samsung 850 Evo and it's been my SSD since day one, never hiccups on read and writes, and also boots my OS super quickly.

Hi everyone.

I'm going to buy my first SSD and i don't know which one should i pick. Both have similar specs and prices. The models I'm talking about are Samsung Evo 860 250GB SATA 3 and GoodRam IRDM Pro 2 Gen 2 MLC 240GB

Maybe other for maximum 80$?

Thank you very much ?

I know nothing about SSD's however I watched a really interesting video on HDD classifications yesterday so I thought that may help, I sent it to you in a PM, just in case posting links of whatever is not allowed. :) Hope that helps you make an informed choice.

Sometimes I fill in the signature field..... other times I don't.
