New phone. Nexus equivalent.

A bit of googling later and I've found that Xiaomi aren't very quick with updates. That information is from 2016 though, so I'll check with a Xiaomi owner.  @kelvinhall05 How quick are updates to your Xiaomi phone?

Can't say, I'm rooted so I don't update :P

 

 

I'd say they're about normal speed considering it's stock Android (for my phone at least).

I say consider Nokia phones. They all run stock Android. But they’re not the best deals out there because you can’t get them through a data plan type deal. 

 

Perhaps you can find an LG G7 One through a carrier deal? If so, that would be the perfect phone.
