Windows doesnt run

While building a pc i noticed that i couldnt install windows from a usb stick(on my other pc it works so usb ist broken) i even tried a new usb installer and it didnt work. I tried installing windows from my other pc on the hard drive and than plugging it into the other pc but that didnt work. I succesfully installled it but when i start the pc it just goes to a black screen with a blinking white bar. I did the boot sequence and everything

How does installing from USB fail?

1. How did you prepare your USB Flash drive with Windows on it?
2. Did you set the boot order correctly in your BIOS/UEFI?
3. Did you enable USB booting in your UEFI/BIOS?

Yes i did all that

It ist an old h55 board and my usb can install windows to other pcs

I resetted my whole bios and did the boot order again and now i have "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key

Default Windows USB installer is UEFI, that board does not have UEFI.

 

You may need to use a DVD if the board does not properly boot from the USB device in the way that Windows is wanting.

You may use old Rufus to prepare USB and choose boot scheme (MBR for old motherboards).
