No Boot Up Problem

I wanna revive my 10-year old pc running on AMD Sempron with integrated nvidia graphics (I dont remember the model numbers btw), an MSI motherboard, and 1 gb DIMM RAM.

I know its ancient. But before I move to the Ryzen series by switching out everything, I wanna know why my old pc doesnt boot up anymore.

Here are the things happen when I boot it up:

1. CD-ROM starts up but it keeps repeating the sound it makes as if its stuck in a replay.

2. Fans are running

3. No display on the monitor (VGA)

4. No beeps

5. Doesnt go to the screen where you press del to enter bios settings

Solutions taken:

1. Unplug everything and replug after a few minutes

2. Switching to a new VGA cable

I wanna know how to fix this since I might encounter this in the future when I build my ryzen rig.

I don't know if it's even worth your time... You're probably better off waiting to see if you run into any issues lol. To humor you, follow everything you see in this thread, if it applies to your current situation:

There is plenty of useful information about how to respond to POSTs, no POSTs, and no powers and such and such. If none of that works, it's probably dead.

edit: I would move clearing CMOS up to the top 3 things to try, as it's super easy and solves plenty of problems.
