Help with UFO test

Go to solution Solved by Mira Yurizaki,

I'm going to assume this isn't a problem, but it's best not to anyway.

Are you using a browser that's supported? See https://www.testufo.com/browser.html

Hi all,

I just purchased a new monitor (Samsung C27JG50) which is a 144Hz monitor. Now I'm testing it out and I wanted to check for ghosting. So I went to the ufo ghosting site (https://www.testufo.com/) but it's only showing up to 60Hz, even when I set the monitor to 120Hz. I checked the Nvidia control panel and it says the resolution is 2560x1440 and the refresh rate is 144Hz. Does anyone know if I am missing something here?

Cheers,

Martijn

Although I was using Chrome, switching to Firefox solved the issue for some reason. Thanks for the tip :)

Hey, so I am looking to maybe buy that monitor, Samsung 27" LED C27JG50, but I am interrested to know if you saw any ghosting and maybe how your experience with monitor has been so far.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. So in the UFO test I did see some ghosting, but I haven't been able to notice it during games (though I am not sure whether I am sensitive to it). The foot is not that great but overall I do enjoy the display and I am keeping it. I have played fast paced games like CS:GO as well as RPGs like the Witcher and both were a nice experience. I did buy a separate DP cable since I think there is some chroma subsampling when using the hdmi cable afaik (be aware that port 1 only supports 60hz). The blacks are really amazing, coming from a high end IPS panel (U2414H). If you have more questions feel free to send me a message react here or send me a message :).

Thanks for the reply! :D I'll probably end up buying it, but it's nice to be sure. So you didn't notice any input lag?

I haven't, but truth be told I am far from a professional CS:GO player. I haven't heard anyone else about input lag though, so I am assuming it is at least not a problem.
