BIOS Downgrade?

Hey guys,

 

So I just updated my BIOS to the latest version, I have the MSI B350 tomahawk. 

Right now I'm only playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, right after the BIOS I've had extensive crashes of the game, and a few crashes of the system.

So I wanted to know if its possible to go back to the older bios version? As it was a lot more stable.

Go to the MSI website, find your motherboard, go to the support section and look at the BIOSs. Then, boot into the BIOS, and find an option somewhere to flas the BIOS in there.

you can, but i think you'll have to download the one you were before to flash your motherboard. I don't think the mobo remembers which number you used before

Yeah that's what I do to find updates, but it will also work reverse? If I download the previous one and then just install that instead? It won't brick my system just because of that?

There’s no reason for it to brick yourself. It’s like installing Windows 7 over Windows 10. It does just that and nothing else.

Alright, I just though it would make a difference since its not 7 -> 10 but 10 -> 7

Yeah, it really doesn’t make a difference.
