I have a msi b350m gaming pro motherboard for my first build, this is my parts list.

What do you guys think of what I have planned.

This is a budget build that I am trying to keep under 800$.

I think that looks super solid. Don't let any elitists tell you a tier 4 PSU isn't good enough, cause I can hear it already.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

go for cx450m psu

r3 1300x

cheapest 120gb ssd for OS

cheapest 1tb hdd for games etc...

try to find 3200 or atleast 3000mhz ram :)

No need for any of that stuff. Storage can be upgraded later, nice big SSD reads and writes faster, PSU doesn't need replacing, r3 1200 can be overclocked to match 1300 on stock, and ryzen 3 doesn't worry about infinity fabric so faster ram is not important. (not like 2800 is slow)

tru, but he says first build so i wouldnt get into oc. anything can happen. and perhaps save some $$ on psu with less watt :)

nah, a mild overclock is safe and a good skill to have early on. Also, getting bottom of the barrel cheap storage isn't necessarily better.

he on a budget tho, which means if oc goes wrong, it voids warranty and dead cpu, no money cause on budget, but ok just suggesting :)

never said cheap storage is better, it will do the job, as i said he's on a budget :D

Thanks I was thinking of going for the Blue

Do not do WD blue, it is a cachless drive and will be slower and die faster than an EVO.
