Linus just has this thing where whenever he gets a bigger (specifically wider) monitor, he fills up the taskbar with as many programs as he can. See: Proof of Linus' Problems He's got ~16 programs running + a few more pinned to the taskbar. Anyone else thinks he does this?

As for a "business man" correct you are, my theory is he down plays certain aspects that the viewers can see on his videos. Like driving old cars and not a new mercedes benz, I mean it makes perfect sense if you think about it.

 

He is a busy business man who has to think of all the angles of his business and what his viewers preceive of him. Otherwise, no more donations and kickback money from online retailers.

 

This is precisely why he uses so many software programs on his pc's.

I knew that the instant I saw the inside of his old house.

I knew it was really bad when I saw all the shit on his stairs.

 

You can judge a person fairly accurately by just viewing their personal appearance and how they keep their home, then you can predict their business premises and how they run their business.
