help GPU ISSUE

so i have a gt 1030 and its in a x16 pcie slot but for some reason it reads as a x4 im so confused on how it change can someone help me with this

You are fine a GT1030 is not fast enough to saturate the connection. Now if it were 2.0 or if you had a 1050, this may present an issue.

Cause its pcie x4 it says its 2.0 

but its a 3.0 mobo

Hold on a moment I just looked up the MOBO, and it is a Sandy Bridge chipset, and Sandy bridge does not support 3.0, so the card goes into a PCIE 2.0 mode.

sounds right, but I recommend a benchmark that puts against other gpus of the same model. Do you have the DDR4 or GDDR5 model?
