Weird Extremely Low CPU temps!!

Hi,.

Recently i installed fresh copy of windows and changed my cpu cooler to xigmatek whiz double fan and using arctic mx paste.

My temps were usually around 60s when gaming, after the new changes my cpu temps are in 40s, i even ran prime95 and still in 40s! Barley reaching 50s!! CPU fans are set to silent mode, When i stopped cpu fans with my hand cpu temps reached 74 only!!

These temps are way low, could it be my cpu not running as it suppose to!!

Could this be the reason for games not gaining any FPS increase when lowering settings!!

Like AC odyssey i get around 40 FPS and sometimes lower whether high or low settings.

CPU usuage are around 50s %, when i played BO4 beta the usage were around 90s but now in 50s? I can still run it smoothly with some stuttering .

I7 4790

RX580 8GB

16GB RAM

Tried multiple bios versions as well, all drivers are up to date.

First time I've seen someone on here complain about lower temps ahaha

If games are running smoothly and without stutter i don't see the problem, but post your results for prime95 and other benchmarks or check them against others with the same CPU and see if its doing its job

Irish in Vancouver, what's new?

He did say it ran just fine though so he should have his previous scores

Its known to kill or destabilize overclocked CPUs as it loads ot heavier than any normal application

Its usually fine

Im sure your hardware is all running fine. My primary machine is rocking a 7600k, which are known to get extremely hot, but under heavy load I'm in the low 40's. Mind you I've paired it with the Corsair H60 liquid cooler.

As far as BO4 performance goes, it was likely optimized so it runs more efficient on your hardware.

Intel Core i7 9700F / Cooler Master 212 Evo / GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER / 16 GB G.SKILL RAM @ 2666MHz / GA-B365M-DS3H / EVGA 500w PSU

HP Pavilion Gaming 15 / Ryzen 5 4600H / GeForce GTX 1050 / 8 GB @ 3200MHz

What was used to monitor temps? Guess it being locked won’t say much about it overall.

I know my cpu sits in the 90% usage area On bo4 but my card actually puts out frames.

Really? My cpu usage is around 60% at 75FPS

With most stuff on high, I sit around 120 frames. Which is as low as I’d like to go.
