Buy a second 280x for CF or buy an 1070 Used

Hey Guys,

 

I am thinking about Upgradeing my PC. Currently iamrocking an I5 3570 with 1x Sapphire r9 280x tri-x.
I have an i5 6600 laying around but no Motherboard. 
Can somone tell me if its better to buy an Second 280x or one 980 or 1070.

Second hand Vega or R9 Fury? Should be the best of both worlds

 

Single cards is allwayd better than 2 cards
