Did i do it right

Daddy Dave

Sorry guys I'm new to pc gaming. I built a pretty budget friendly pc with a GTX 1050 TI, Ryzen 3 processor, and 8 gigabytes of ram( if you want to see all the parts go to Joey Delgado 500$ pc). I have a really cheap Chinese keyboard called the K552 Kamura RGB keyboard, I mean its ok but is too loud (please leave any good cherry MX brown switch TKl keyboard since I have a very little desk and need a better keyboard) My mouse is really good and I like it. It is the Steel series rival 310. Then, my monitor is an Asus vg245h 75 Hz ( I chose 75 Hz because I figured that my pc can't really do much more than 75 frames plus I don't really notice a difference ) I want a second opinion on if I should get double monitors ( one on top of the other) because I also have a ps4 and Xbox and its annoying to switch between different inputs everytime ( plus two monitors is awesome) I have the fifine k669 for my audio. It is ok for a budget microphone. Definitely sound better than the snowball tho. Then for hearing audio, I have the Bose QC 25. ( any recommendations for a good budget friendly DAC/AMP) I had them laying around and I never really used them but dang they sound so much better than a gaming 50$ headset. For my mouse pad, I have the Steel Series QcK which is nice. By the way, I was thinking about getting the Ficlo Majestouch 2 TKL. Feel free to roast my pc and my parts I just want good solid feedback.

As for this though, sure, do get a second monitor if changing input bother you so much.

But I wouldn't recommend having it on top since it could lead to neck pain from looking up. Unless you have a chair with a reclining back.

that video is outdated, and not very well made.

1. CPU. 2200G has came out later and is often cheaper than the 1200, for some reason even though it has more components in it: integrated graphics.

2. Cheap mobo can come back to bite you when you upgrade the CPU to say, a 6 core CPU in the future.

3. EVGA's 430w PSU suck. Get something tier 3 or above in this list. 400w is enough

4. No SSD is sad on a PC built in 2018. Like buying a car without power steering because you cant afford it.

5. Graphics card prices is much higher now than back then. 1050ti money back then can only get you a 1050 at this point, so..... Might as well just keep your money and stay with 2200g's integrated graphics. Can still play games at 1080p low settings or 720p medium to high settings.

Reasons why I am suggesting u the above mentioned build..

  1. Ryzen 2200g often goes around fr similar (sometimes cheaper) than the 1200, despite of having an igpu integrated in it.
  2. A320 boards are straight up crap. Spend $10 more ND get a b350/b450 board. A320 board won't support overclocking and won't have a good resale value.
  3. That evga 430w psu isn't a good unit. Go with something like cxm series from Corsair or masterwatt series from cooler master.
  4. U really will feel the need to have an SSD. It makes PC so much snappier.
  5. Just build the above mentioned build fr the time being. OC the CPU ND the GPU part. U'll be fine with most of the titles running at 40-50fps at 1080p low-mid settings. U can add in a dedicated GPU later on. Something like a used 1060 or rx580.

Depends on how much you can spend, but 2.5" ones are usually the best value.

Install it according to its socket on the motherboard, install the OS into it, and use it as a boot drive. Dont try moving the old OS install over, online apps that claim to do that often cost money and still dont work without bugs.

I mean I only mainly play fortnite on pc really. The main reason I decided to build my pc was for school and since I figured if I am going to spend 300$ on one might as well make it gaming. The only problem I'm having is my computer speed. Sometimes it takes up to a minute for a website to load. This usually happens when the computer is starting up. That might be the issue since my internet is really good. Or it might be my computer. Any thought on what this could be ?

What makes this computer faster than the one I have. And I don't really care for fps in games that much. I mean i can play low quality not like Im not going to be a professional in fortnite or anything lol. That is why I chose a pretty cheap build
