Mouse and keyboard help!

Hello all! Ran into this problem probably close to only 30min ago. I was on my PC having no problems at all. After a few minutes I turn it off to go walk the dog but when I come back and turn my PC on my mouse and keyboard are no longer lit or active. Both of them are usb’s. I tried plugging them into different USB ports on my MOBO and the front of my tower but to no avail. I then plug in my iPhone charger to every port to see if could get a connection through that. Come to find out only 1 USB port picked up the charger. I recently build this computer not too long ago and never had this problem. Going into the BIOS setting though both the keyboard and mouse get picked up so I’m hoping it’s not a problem with the motherboard... thanks for any help in advance.

Edit: Now when restarting my PC it boots to American Megatrends menu with the error of “CPU fan speed error detected. Ensure to install CPU fan properly onto CPU_FAN header or adjust/disable the fan speed Low Lonit option in the UEFI I press F1 to get into the bios but after saving the settings in there it still brings me back to the American Megatrends menu. I’ve tried going back to all default setting but to no avail.
