Bios

Go to solution Solved by Pat Meyer,

no the settings are the defalt settings  there is no overclocking

I was just wondering i you can reflash a BIOS. I have a ASUS prime x470-pro and for the last week or so it has been having trouble booting up and

takes a long time then it goes to the bios screen and I seem to have to tell it to use the boot drive and it seems to be dropping

some of the USB plugs. I am running a

AMD ryzen 2700 water cooled

32GB 2400 mz APG ADATA

ASUS prim x470-pro

ASUS Cerberus geforce GTX 1070ti water cooled

the bios version is 4024

You can try a couple different things.  You can go into the current BIOS and set everything to optimized settings.  You can use the jumper on the board to clear the CMOS.  That can be found in the manual.  Or you can pull the battery from the board and re-install it after a few seconds.  That will also clear the CMOS.  And you can also try putting the latest BIOS on a USB drive and then re-installing it that way, but I am not certain how it will behave if you go that route.
