New Unraid Build

Hello, want to build my new virtualization/Nas server. I have my old setup with I7-4770k but I don't support VT-d and I can't mess around with PCIe passthrough 

 

I got my hands on E5-2670 v3 from brother as gift   so i thinking of selling my old cpu and motherboard with ram and fudding my new x99 

 

i want to ask how much can i ask for this combo :

1. G1.Sniper Z97 
 2. Intel I7-4770K 1150s
 3. 16 Gb DDr3 ram 2800 hmz Hyper Beast

4. Scythe Mugen 4 cooler 

 

And what x99 platforms motherboard will you guys recommend, as i saw some x99 platforms support quad channel ram so if its smart idea buy 4x4 gb stick of ram ? 

That  HDD do you guys recommend ( price/size)? btw. this server will not run 24/7 i have another for this task .

 

and looking for any sort of advice about this config
